Powerscourt Sept. 9/4/2009

What a train wreck of a day. We picked up a rental car in Dublin, got lost and finally found our hotel room to pick up our luggage. We then drove to Powerscourt and were scheduled to drive through the Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny for our first overnight stop. Our GPS took us back to Dublin and we missed out on the spectacular views from Wicklow and the ruins of Glendalough. I was heartbroken and sulked a bit but after a good night sleep in Kilkenny, we were off to a good start to explore the Rock of Cashel and our next stop, Kinsale for 2 days.
